Catfeine Cat Cafe - Murfreesboro, TN
Y’all, if you are a cat-lover, Catfeine Cat Cafe is a must visit for you! The boys and I were spending the day in Murfreesboro (about 30 miles southeast of Nashville) this summer, so we decided to check out the cafe on a recommendation from another mom.
This place is not only cuteness overload, but the owners are helping to get these adorable kitties adopted! Since they opened in 2019, they have helped 500 cats find forever-homes!
Warning, if your children are like mine and you are not planning to adopt a cat on your visit, make sure you have said that before you go in. Even though we had that conversation at least 6 times in the car on the way, I still had to say “no” at least 38 times while we were there. These sweet little fur-babies are too adorable, and falling in love is inevitable!
A couple of things to know before you go…
The cafe has a 15 person maximum per hour, so you may want to reserve your spot before you go. You do not have to have a reservation, but you may want one especially on the weekend. We went on a weekday, and we didn’t have any trouble getting in without a reservation.
There is an age requirement for visitors, and your age determines how long you can stay. Here is the breakdown -
You must be 10 or older to book a one hour visit.
Children 7-9 years old can visit for 30 minutes on weekdays only (Tues - Fri).
Children under 7 are not able to visit.
All children ages 7-13 must bring an adult with them.
For all the other important details, visit the cafe’s FAQ page.
If you want to make a whole day out of it, check out Earth Experience and the Flashback Arcade while you are in Murfreesboro as well!
